The North Bury Junior Football League (NBJFL) is a long-standing grassroots league founded in 1972, dedicated to nurturing young talent across Greater Manchester. With over 135 clubs ranging from under-7s to under-18s, the league thrives on community spirit and is proudly run by volunteers who ensure a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for children to enjoy and grow through football.
For the upcoming season, we’re excited to introduce Sunday football for U13 and U14s, girls’ football at U7 and U8 hosted at a central venue, and a brand-new U21s division—expanding opportunities for even more young people to get involved, develop their skills, and be part of something special.

Applications now open
Please complete the attached form online to join the NBJFL. A reminder that it should be club secretaries who complete the form and not individual teams. Fees are £65 (per team).
Please do not pay for the teams you have registered until your club is invoiced by the league treasurer. This will stop any issues of club paying the wrong amounts.

At NBJFL, we follow the Standard Code of Rules for Youth (SCORY) and Standard Code of Rules (SCOR) to ensure every match is played in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. These rules aren’t just regulations, they’re the backbone of fair play, helping players, coaches, and volunteers enjoy the game we all love.
